ABOUT
Auckland-based band Morristown, delivers songs with distinctive melodies, well defined structures and catchy, relatable lyrics that people can easily sing along to. A comfortable blend of singer-songwriter, indie and pop music styles, Morristown songs are uplifting and emotionally provoking. The band has taken songs penned by Wendy Morris and produced material that demonstrates a high level of collaboration and collective creativity. The carefully crafted musical arrangements offer a Kiwi flavour and a quirky, unique edginess that provides a sense of timelessness. The three female vocalists share the lead vocals and sing captivating three part harmonies. More than just a band, Morristown is at the heart of a community of fellow creatives. The group actively facilitates events to showcase the talents of other performers including via their own underground music venue in Auckland.
